cancellation/ no-show policy

We understand that life happens. Tint Lab Salon Studio proudly supports our stylists and we are committed to protecting them. 48 hours’ notice is requested to move, switch, or cancel any appointment. As we are closed Sunday, notice of cancellation for Monday appointments must be given before time of close on Friday by phone, or via email if after closing.

  • Appointments cancelled with less than 48hrs notice will risk a cancellation fee.

  • No-show appointments will no longer be welcome to book at Tint Lab Salon Studio.

  • Fees will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the salon/stylist.

THIS POLICY IS FIRM AND HIGHLY ENFORCED.

refund policy

We want you to love your hair! If you are not satisfied with your results after your visit, you have 7 days from the date of the service no notify the salon and arrange an adjustment. Tint Lab Salon Studio reserves the right to determine the eligibility of an adjustment/fix on a case-by-case basis. We will only provide ONE complimentary fix.

The salon does not provide refunds on services, hair extensions, gift cards or products. Due to the hygienic nature of hair/hot tools, brushes, clips, combs and hair accessories, these are a final sale.

booking policy

APPOINTMENT REMINDERS ARE SENT OUT BY EMAIL 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE, AND BY TEXT 6 HRS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT- please keep track of your appointments in your PERSONAL calendar. Failure to receive or see a reminder is not a valid reason to miss an appointment. Not confirming your appointment does not qualify as cancelling. Changes to your appointment can only be made through the booking system, through the salon over phone or via email. If you are cancelling a beginning of the week appointment over a weekend when the salon is closed - we request you email us at tintlab.yqr@outlook.com to ensure your message arrives in due time.

DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICES

Tint Lab Salon Studio reserves the right to refuse services to any guest, for any reason. We reserve the right to terminate any client relationship we deem necessary. Rudeness, verbal abuse, use of profanity or pushback on salon policies will not be tolerated.

RELEASE FORM

All new clients receiving a chemical service and any client who requires a colour correction/has box or permanent colour on their hair (not done by the salon), or has had a chemical relaxer, Brazilian blowout, or perm will be required to sign a release form prior to the service. We take chemical services very seriously and this form ensures that you do too.

pricing - what to expect

OUR SALON CHARGES PARTS & LABOR

This means our service price, and our color cost are two separate charges. We charge by the hour for the stylists’ time, and by the ounce/gram for colour & toner. Since every service is different, color cost can range from $20 for a basic retouch, to $75+ for highlights/balayage, and can be $150+ for a color correction.
